【失われゆくダフタウンの幻影
ピティヴェアックからの1980年代長期熟成原酒】
ボウモア蒸留所で20年以上ゼネラル・マネージャーとして研鑽を積んだブライアン・クルック氏によって、1992年に創業されたボトラー・クーパーズチョイス。 確かな目利きと独特のストックは世界中に多くのファンを持っています。 ダフタウン蒸留所の第2蒸留所としてスタートし、1975年からわずか20年弱の歴史だったピティヴェアック蒸留所。 主には「花と動物シリーズ」でのボトリングがありました。 生産の終了からも既に20年以上が過ぎてしまい、近年では僅かなボトラーボトルと親会社からの限定リリースのみとなります。 短い歴史ながらも佳酒の評判のあるピティヴェアック。 終焉期に生まれた長期熟成原酒は知る価値のある1本です。
Cooper's Choice is founded in 1992 by Mr.Brian Crook.
His solid tasteful sence and unique connection makes many fans all over the world. We selected extremely rare stock from the short time history distillery “PITTYVAICH”.
Already more than 20 years passed after the end of production, now it's one of the hard-to-find brands.

テイスティングコメント
香り：蜂蜜、研磨剤、煙草、新品の皮製品、徐々にオレンジオイル、みかん、柑橘の皮へと変化する、時折フローラル。
味わい：オレンジ、キウイフルーツのクエン酸系フルーツ、そして、林檎、マーマレード、非加熱系フルーツの多彩なコンビネーション、ややビターでワクシー、オイリーなボディ。
フィニッシュ：アプリコット、枇杷、桃の皮、砂糖漬けのフルーツ、ややグラッシーでドライ。
コメント：開栓間も無くは個性的なので、少量の加水がお薦め。甘酸っぱいフルーツフレイバーが多彩に広がりを魅せる1本。
Aroma: honey, abrasives, cigarettes, new leather products. They gradually change to orange oil, tangerine and citrus peel scents. Occasionally a floral scent is also felt.
Taste: Orange, citric acid fruits of kiwi fruit. Then apple, marmalade. A variety of combinations of fruits that do not overripe. Slightly bitter, waxy, oily body.
Finish: Apricot, loquat, peach skin, candied fruit, slightly grassy and dry.
Comment: Immediately after opening, it is unique, so adding a small amount of water is recommended.
